Hi guys! Thought I'd make a selection of my prom/wedding hair tutorials for you to choose from in case you have a special event to attend. They're quite versatile, great for all special occasions, formal and semi-formal events (graduation, homecoming, ball, etc) not to forget about photo shoots and romantic dates when you want to dress to impress :)
Nowadays hair fashion is very relaxed and flexible, even for formal events. If we take a look at the hairstyles that Hollywood celebrities are wearing on the red carpet, we'll see that those are either glamorous curls (quite often retro waves, Old Hollywood style) or soft, messy effortless updos. Occasionally we can also spot sleek minimalist looks and high ponytails.
My own hair is shoulder length, thin and totally straight, so in my curly hair tutorials I curl it overnight without heat with my favorite bendy rollers, Jumbo Curlers from www.JumboCurlers.com and for extra length and volume I'm wearing my clip-in human hair extensions from www.GlamTimeHair.com - they take only 5 minutes to apply and a minute to remove.
If you're in the mood for soft curls, the following tutorial is for you:
And why not decorate your hair with a braided headband? In the following video I show you 4 different braided headbands combined with big teased 60s hair that is so back in fashion. But all that volume is just an option - you could wear your hair anyhow you please - straight, wavy or curly :)
The following Frozen's Elsa inspired braid is a great look that allows you to show off the length of your hair and keep it tied up at the same time
For the lovers of feminine romantic curly updos I have the following videos:
If you gravitate toward sleek simplistic updos, here's a hair tutorial for you to try out:
And finally, for those who always want to be on trend, I suggest the following braided looks:
High ponytails always look classy and chic. Here are a couple of ways to style them with braids:
And finally, if you want to channel your inner Blake Lively, why not go for a simple yet chic fusion braid?
If you try out any of these looks, share your results on Instagram with @LilithMoonLife #LilithMoonHair. I can't wait to see your recreations! Hope you have many of those wonderful special events to attend this spring/summer. If not, you can always create them ...that's what I do :)))
